If Scourton were to last until 2.55 that would be a steal IMO.

@buck-melanoma Sorry to burst your bubble, but Scourton is never lasting until 2.55. I could see him taken in Rd1. He is moving up boards. He was a big mover for me in my rankings. I think because he isn’t a flashy, didn’t compile a bunch of stats, and wasn’t some testing freak, that he gets overlooked. The guy is everything you want from a power edge player and the fact that he was able to drop weight between Purdue and Texas A&M and still be effective is impressive and proves he has the scheme versatility and frame to add and drop mass. I love him, but unless he’s the pick at 1.22 or there is a trade up into the first 5-10 picks of round 2, he’s never going to be a Charger.
@evolz3737 that’s why I said it would be a steal. I don’t expect him to last, just riffing off of Brugler’s comments. I’d be OK (depending on the board, of course) if Scourton was the 1.22 pick. There’s a lot to like about him and I think he’d fit this locker room well too.
Yes, I’m intrigued by Stewart’s measurables too….but the sack production is disappointing. I realize sacks aren’t everything but this difficulty in finishing is a red flag for me.
I remain a Loveland guy and hope he falls to us.
