This offense is gross. Other teams have put up points on KC we don’t do dick. Pitt looked like the 85 Bears last week and Indy torched them today. Minter is coaching his balls off every week and the offense looks like a bad Pop Warner team. There’s a reason Roman was available.

Kudos to the banged-up Chargers for hanging with the Chiefs for 3 quarters, I guess. But we all know that the drive that ended on the 2 yard line with no points was likely the end of the line. The defense is gassed and the offense is decidedly mediocre.

Here’s our new identity. Great defense, no offense and tons of penalties. Good thing we play a last place schedule so we can look great against some more cupcakes. New regime, same bullshit against this team.

Roman sucks. Be prepared for more scoreless halves.

Frankly I thought it would go worse without our starting tackles. Outcome is he same though

Draft plan for next season. Every single pick after the 1st round needs to be OL until it’s no longer an issue. Also I’m off the Josh Palmer train officially. He’s in the same boat with Josh Kelley at this point until he proves he can actually display the stuff Keenan taught him.

A seriously depleted roster took the champs to the bell. I can’t be too upset. Cold comfort is still some kind of comfort.

Defense is already there. Offense needs to catch up.

@screechscousinjim The genuine lack of in play adjustment to what the defense is showing is really concerning and frankly we just don’t have the talent on the line through 4 weeks to keep the train on the track. 0 points after the 1st quarter is just unacceptable for a pro sports team. Don’t care what sport it is.

Not sure how much in play adjustment can be made with 2 starting tackles out and Herbert with a bum ankle. All the flags stymieing the offense was likely a result of patchwork line (and the refs heavy handed against us). Running game also stuck in the mud because of it. There were some questionable coaching calls also for sure. hope we get the starters back after the bye.

Outcome would have been the same with everyone there. This offense has been dogshit since the first half vs Carolina. At least in the past we lost exciting games. Nothing exciting watching this offense. This team has 8-9 written all over it.

You just cannot win with that O line play. Could not run the ball and way too much pressure on Herbert on key downs. Same as it ever was against the Chiefs.

Of course chiefs lucky as hell to play us with both starting tackles out.

I’ve been loading trucks with supplies for western NC. Hurricane Helene devastated the Asheville area and west into TN. Really, really bad situation.

Just glad Herbert escaped further injury.

All good here in southeastern VA but thx for asking. 👍🏼 Many have lost everything. No power or communications in much of the area. Entire towns leveled, most roads in western NC closed including interstates 40 & 26. Parts of Asheville are completely submerged.

Asheville is a beautiful town. I saw they got hit, which is awful. Thanks for putting your back into it, Buck. I’m glad to be out of Ohio and Kentucky with their ice storms and tornadoes. Glad to be out of the Louisiana hurricane zone. Happy to be back in California where we do good things like dodging fires every ten minutes and praying that tectonic plates don’t shift.

@foutsmfic this storm really blew up fast, mostly because of extremely warm Gulf waters.
