I don’t think that’s completely true. The Chargers D held some good teams to unusually low point totals. Those games were lost due to offensive incompetence.

That missed block on Matlock is was absolutely brutal. I’m under the impression the fullback move was made late since it was hidden from the media for so long… so I’ve really wanted to wait to evaluate him until next year after he’s had a full TC to practice and learn the position… but MAN that was bad.
