Happy Thanksgiving to you all! Very grateful for all of you in our community here. Sorry I’ve been MIA, we welcomed our second baby girl on the 10th and as Z is recovering from her C-Section I’ve been on 24 hour dad duty.

Congrats on your second daughter Kyle! As a father of two daughters…. Actually, I really don’t have any really good advice other than to do what you’re doing; prioritize and cherish your family and always be there to talk to your daughters.
My oldest is 15. I, unfortunately, remember what it was like to be a 15 year old boy. We have lots of discussions on what motivates the behavior of boys at her school…. Not difficult for us men to figure out, but somehow it’s surprising to women.

Will try to make the live event. We’re opening our 5th clinic Monday and I have a lot of shit to do to get ready for that (which is also why I struggle to comment regularly).
I do listen to the podcast every time, usually while working or golfing (which is the one thing I do force myself to make the time for).
Y’all continue to get better at the podcasting bit. Good combination of research/information and funny banter. Not many can pull off both. Not looking to having to whip out my phone to fast forward past commercials, but I think you guys could be at the point where you start to monetize your “product.” Again, I don’t want you guys to do this, but know that you could.

We have monetised on YouTube but so far not an audio. To be honest, our podcast has lost a bit of momentum this year (for whatever reason) and hasn’t built on the YoY growth we saw across our previous seasons. And we’re way behind some of the other US-based Chargers podcasts. I think there are probably a few factors:
Reality is twe are three 35yos with young families who struggle to make the time for us all to record together once peer week as it is. We are very grateful though for our small but committed listenership and, with that it mind, it’s probably not worth us annoying you all with audio adverts for the small amounts of money we would make from it. Maybe we can include a “Donate” button on our YouTube instead for any fans who feel desired to throw us a couple bucks.
Who knows, maybe we take off one day. But we’re glad you enjoy the show, which we try our best to make the best we possibly can!
