Good morning and afternoon, StormCloud!
We’re gearing up for another prime time game as Jim Harbaugh’s Chargers get ready to square off against the Kansas City Chiefs.
The wins and losses have certainly favored the Chiefs since Justin Herbert took over as the franchise quarterback of the Chargers, but under Harbaugh and Joe Hortiz the Chargers have been “turning the worm.” The organization’s operational decisions and strategy have been a strength for the first time since the early A.J. Smith days. Not only did Joe Hortiz deftly maneuver up and down the 2024 Draft Board to secure four players that would become immediate impact starters and a handful of others that have shown promise, Jim Harbaugh’s coaching has also developed players from the 2023 class that were underused the year before.
Herbert’s Chargers have always played the Chiefs close, but have frequently lost in the last couple possessions to their rivals. Earlier this year, the Bolts continued a trend of keeping the game within a possession but not securing their fourth quarter lead after creating what should have been game-altering turnovers in the first half. A weak offensive performance saw the Bolts only score 10 points to the Chiefs 17… a number they will have to build upon to stand a chance tonight.
Ladd McConkey was the leading receiver in that matchup, and the undersized receiver has put on a Herculean effort since, establishing himself as Justin’s only target to reliably gain separation and secure his catches. His high usage and smaller stature has led to serious wear on his body, entering Week 14 with a debilitating AC joint sprain and knee injury that his his availability for the Sunday Night game in question. Currently, it’s reported that he will be a game time decision. Even if he’s available to play, it’s been evident to those watching that he is gutting through serious pain to be out there for his teammates.
Denzel Perryman is likely out another week, showing up as a “Doubtful” on the final injury report, with Ladd, Tony Jefferson, and Junior Colson listed as questionable. Colson came off the IR this week giving hope that he may be ready to step in for Perryman, although Troy Dye has filled in admirably.
How’s everyone feeling about tonight? Be sure to get some chatter going in the comments!

Hmmmโฆ super cheap tickets to Bucs game. $20 each. Probably $75 in gas, $80 for parking, $20 per in-stadium beer, and a good chance at a hotel room (itโs a 3+ hour drive). Considering a Christmas gift to myself.ย
@smithย
Do it. Always worth attending games.
Iโm reading through these posts again, so I know I was here. And, yes, I was drinking, but did the Chargers really lose a game last night? I canโt seem to get myself to believe it.
Iโll believe when theyโre lining up in Arrowhead again in the playoffs.
And I f-ing broke my phone this morning, so itโs nearly impossible to post right now.
I haven’t been able (yet) to locate the pist-game locker room video. If someone else does, please share?
Thanks!!
*post game*
Though I am still a bit pist (pissed).
This one is on the offense too. Yes, they did play far better in the second half but 7 quarters of no offensive production, aside from a 2 point conversion following a pick 6? I’d say we’re fortunate to have come away from the last 3 games 1-2. The defense has balled out or else these scores would have been lopsided affairs. Heck, we even got a pretty fairly refereed game in KC last night.
Reid is an offensive guru and I hope Roman took copious notes and knows how to read his own writing. I’m way past making excuses for his outdated play calling.

We ainโt beating the Chiefs until Reid retires. They have him and we counter with Greg Roman. Talk about bringing a knife to a gun fight.ย
Not to be the turd in the punchbowl, but there were multiple opportunities for a stop on that final Chiefs drive, and the D just couldn’t get it.
But I agree, the offense is hit and miss.
You’re not wrong but the defense held the Chiefs to 19 points.
It’s on the offense.
The good news? The offense completed a complete inversion of itself. No first half points and all points in the 2nd half. Whatever that means.
Later Buck. Talk to you this week.ย
Sigh…..
OK catch y’all later. Thanks for hanging out.
Peace. Let’s get the Bucks game and move on.
I know how to beat Bucks.
Wait…..
Lol. Typo *Bucs.
Letโs face it. Until Reid is gone we ainโt winning shit. He just plays with his food to make it fun fir himself.ย
You literally can’t make this shit up in a fucking movie
Oh my gawd….
Why not. Just add some more salt.ย
I cannot believe this shit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Block it!!!!
Once again, lunch pails to all yโall. My stomach hurts right now. Hereโs to sunnier days.
Fuck Greg Roman
Hi, I’m Buck and I’m a Chargerholic.
