Great podcast.  Good to see you guys being just as informative and funny with just the two of you.  A few comments:

Its pretty amazing how quickly the completely re-made RB room became a factor in the game.  While Gus struggled a bit, I’m optimistic that the three RBs (including Vidal) will collectively rush for 1800+ yards this season.  It’s just night/day from where this team was a year ago.  Credit to Hortiz, Harbaugh and Roman for pressing re-boot rather than remodeling
I agree with you guys that Matlock the receiver was not impressive.  My opinion is that by the 3rd quarter, the Chargers new they were going to win the game and were working to put specific things on tape to set up future opponents.
The defense was not perfect, but was very good.  The Chargers are very fortunate to start the season against 3 very average QBs.  Week 4 will tell us how far this defense has improved over the shite that has been put on the field the last few years.
The point on coaching is spot-on.  Harbaugh out-coached Pierce.  Top to bottom, the Charger organization is better than the Raider organization.  Hortiz out-managed Tommy T.  Minter out-coordinated Getsy.   Roman out-coordinated Graham.  The Chargers were better constructed and better prepared to beat the Raiders.  This makes me very happy.  FTR!
Last year, playing a shitty team that just got their asses kicked would scare me.  This year…. I really believe the Chargers are going to be prepared and will take care of business.

Again, great podcast!

TDU_Alister This is interesting.  Not sure I know how to react to a coaching staff that actually game plans for opponents.

Buck Melanoma I’ll forgive him this time, but he certainly grunted over the top of my joyous ‘FTR’ in the intro!! You can’t have enough of them in any given show
