Well it turns out it's a bitter end. God damn I really hoped for Herbert to have a good game today. So sad..
You hafta wonder if there's something wrong with him we don't know about. Maybe he's sick? I think this is the worst game I've seen him play, and I follow the Ducks.
He was very off today and his body language seemed so lackluster. Could very well be something wrong. I don't think we would ever know that even if he was though.
For now the narrative that he chokes in big games/the playoffs is very much alive. Hopefully he can get a chance to redeem himself next season with a little bit more help.
OK - a couple statements about the 2024 Chargers season:
- 4 Pillars Spiced Negroni Gin may be the best liquor ever made
- Jesse Minter will be the Chargers 2025 defensive coordinator
- Greg Roman should not be on the 2025 Chargers staff, but will be
- The 2025 season will be determined by:
- 2025 draft (advantage: Chargers - Harbaugh knows the players)
- 2025 FA: lots of cap space
- coaching: Still an advantage
- Growth of Herbert: Need to seriously discuss his mentorship. Great that Harbaugh asked him who he wanted as QB coach. Now time to give him who he needs. He has all the talent.

Agree, but the defense gave up 32 points and couldn't stop shit. And the special teams gave up 2 blocked kicks.
Out-coached in every phase.
