2026 NFL DRAFT
PROSPECT PROFILE

Keldric Faulk
EDGE, Auburn 6-6, 276
Strengths
- Prototypical size and length for the position
- Excellent at anchoring and setting an edge
- Run defense is his calling card right now. He dominates the POA and has the strength to stack and shed and will make plays down the line
- Displays excellent power to bull rush tackles into the backfield
- Shows flashes of pass rush potential using his length to out leverage opponents and getting to the QB
- High football IQ and discipline to play to his assignment
Weaknesses
- Has no real legitimate pass rush repertoire
- Does not have the burst or flexibility to threaten around the edge
- Can sometimes be a tick late off the snap and he doesn’t have the quickness in his first step to recover
- Loses contain with his obsession to get up field as if he’s rushing with blinders on
Keldric Faulk might be the best run defending edge in the class. He displays fantastic strength to rag doll lesser opponents and has the anchor to set and edge with ease. Combining his raw strength with his length is what really stands out. He uses his length well to be able to win the leverage battle and stack and shed to make plays. Factoring in that he will only be 20 on draft day is even more impressive. There is a ton to work with if looking to develop his pass rush plan and technique more than just pure power. While he doesn’t possess pure speed and bend around the edge, with a little refinement and work, he might be able to develop as a power pash rusher.
Keldric Faulk is an NFL ready run defender right now. He would be able to come into any team and would be able to hold his own setting an edge while making run stops up and down the line. I think that because he is so young, there is a ton to work with to try to develop his power profile as an Edge rusher. He already plays with superb power that must be dealt with, so if he were able to refine his technique and plan as a rusher he can develop into a complete Edge defender. I would prefer other players at Edge in this class for the Los Angeles Chargers, especially in Round one, but if he were the selection, at least we are getting an extremely young, ready-made power profile run defender that can be groomed under two exceptional power players now in Mack and Tuli. There would be a lot to be excited about this selection, even if he isn’t the perfect fit stylistically to what this Edge unit needs to compliment it.
I think other names in this class have gotten attention because of their pass rushing prowess, but I think his combination of age, power, run defense and potential for improvement will have evaluators holding him in higher regard than consensus. With this being the case, I can see Faulk’s range being anywhere from 10-38, but I would be surprised if he slipped out of Rd1.
