The author answered the question early on....the designation was made in order to hopefully get a comp pick....a well-known priority for Hortiz. @buck-melanoma Agreed it's a shit article. Why would they think bringing back a player who has already has success in our system, as a 1 year rotational player to add to our RB room be a bad thing? He would take over for Vidal and we would have 3 starting caliber backs on the roster. Talk about injury proofing the position. Not to mention they think Keenan should be back? This guy obviously did ZERO research on the draft or roster. Actually we are overfilled at WR when you count Rice, Reagor, Davis and Fitzpatrick. The swimsuit edition might have to become topless with this level of sports journalism.
