Hey everyone- we have a new Harbaugh presser.

Every time I watch one of these, I can't believe he's our coach.

Will join in the comments with my thoughts, but just wanted to drop this to help start conversations!

Hard to not buy into such a positive person. As the momentum of this team builds and the roster keeps getting better you can actually visualize a consistent playoff caliber team. In the mix year in and year out.

That was a pretty cool presser. Harbaugh makes you believe because HE believes. It's been a while. I found it interesting that he's not giving out any info at all on Colson's injury, or anyone else's, and from what I heard him say, that's going to be the case going forward.

@nickcoulter Welcome to the party, Nick! Happy to have you join us!

Definitely agree that Harbaugh's energy is contagious. I personally don't mind him keeping injuries close to the vest - most coaches do, he was just blunt and honest about it! 🤣 🤣

@kylededi Thanks Kyle. I was checking in now and then on BFTB and sorta wondered where everyone went. Reminded me of when my family moved 1000 miles away while I was away at school.

I agree that keeping injury info vague is the way to go. I was just kind of surprised that Harbaugh seemed to be saying that from here on out, everything from a hangover to a broken leg will be described as "working through an issue". It's cool with me.

Great job on the site. I was going to comment that the font was hard to read, but you fixed it before I could post about it.

@nickcoulter I've always felt this way too, but plenty of fans damn near lose their minds at vagueness like this. Will they be giving Harbaugh a pass?

@buck-melanoma Harbaugh was very much like this at Michigan as well. The only time he would give any information was when a player was done for the year. All other injuries were very vague, and he always leaned on privacy and HIPAA.

@spanos-must-go and like I said....I'm good with that. But we posted at BFTB (& likely other boards) where fans felt they should be informed of any injury & the full extent.

@buck-melanoma outside of injury report requirements when the season starts we can all live without knowing. No choice. My hope is that they build a deep roster and are able to absorb injuries. And that Ben Herbert makes them harder to break.

@spanos-must-go This might be super cheesy of me (OK, it is), but I wish the team took advantage of Herbert reaching celebrity status amongst the fanbase, and had some sort of workout challenges or programs he put together.

It would be so fun to have some accessible workouts that we could do at home that mirror some of his stuff. A lot of it appears to be band based, which is easy to replicate.

I'm sorry to have to post this. I'm not sure where else to do it, and that it the root of my "complaint". I love what's going on here. The effort is fantastic, and perhaps, with time, I'll get a better feel for the site. Think I will. But, I can't help but feel that things are a bit overly complex with the format for my taste. Simplicity is king. No shade, Kyle. Don't want to seem ungrateful. I know you're still fiddlin!

@bolt_dk Thanks DK! And Cable Guy - I'm still plugging away. If you view the articles from the HomePage, the comment system very closely mirrors the comment system you're used to.

I softed the fonts up today to more tradition fonts after hearing everyone thought the fonts made it a little tough to read. I'll continue making tweaks to try and make the site as user-friendly as possible.

Definitely don't hesitate to make requests - I'm working through several right now, and will continue to do so. I was a little disoriented myself at first, but after learning how the sidebars work with the "unread messages" and "latest posts" it really started to help me navigate to our active conversations.
