Well, Odell Beckham has been released. There are going to be some knee-jerk reactions that the Chargers have nothing to lose by signing him, but personally I don't see Odell solving our current "can't separate" problem.

It does, however, provide an interesting situation for the Ravens. Diontae Johnson appears to be on the outs in Baltimore, and the Ravens have an opportunity to bring in a familiar face who has chemistry with Lamar Jackson.

In that circumstance, can the Chargers bring in Diontae, a player many wanted at the deadline, and get him "bought-in" once again?

Personally, I think having an elite head coach and locker room leadership grants you the ability to take some gambles on players like this. It would be an incredibly high upside move, and I trust Jim and our leaders to prevent a toxic situation if the move didn't work out.

I'm all aboard bringing on anybody right now that can fill in as a WR4/5 from Raegor/Chark.

I do wonder if being back in LA County might bring out whatever remains from OBJ and perhaps he plays less as the deep-ball guy and more like Keenan - catch the ball when Herbert fires it at your head.
