A 3 play, -4 yard drive was not what I was looking for. I can't complain about the 1st down call as they at least didn't run up the gut, but jeez, the offense has to do better.
Yeah - I'm with you, regarding our conversation with the line. Even though Zion gave up that sack, if we were the "weak link" on our line and we had a solid/great center and above-average RG, I think his play would elevate. A unit with that sort of make-up would be a top-5 group... but it starts with a stud center

Bosa in there again. Not seeing him do much (and not getting double-teamed).
Maybe it's all a rise Buck, and he's just trying to force his way out and get traded to SF 😉
He was taking a knee on the sidelines getting looked at by a trainer and I believe the broadcasters said he looked like he was in pain.
I think this might be Bosa's last year in the NFL... mayyybe he goes to SF and tried to stay healthy in a rotational role. But after his presser where he acknowledged he just can't seem to stay on the field without his body letting him down, I really think the train is reaching the station.
It's pretty surprising to me that this defense is not getting more turn-overs. Playing bad QBs (and now some short dude I never heard of from Fresno State), you would think there would be a multiple-pick game.
@kevdiego this is real Charger football. Not blowing a team out starting a late round rookie or a UDFA level QB. If we had them under C the game would have been over at half.
Can this offense go out there and just win the game? I have not seen an offense struggle this hard to move the ball and score in a while

Man - if Dobbins was the outlet, why was Fehoko going to the back corner? Both defenders were able to sit on the shallow side of the marker the whole play... so weird.
Why are we playing soft zone against the 3rd string QB? We should be blitzing him into oblivion. Speed the game up for him.
